By enabling the brightest young minds of the country to get what they want to, Aakash is conducting Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam (ANTHE-Junior) 2015. This examination aims to enable the young students to achieve their goal of becoming top professionals by providing them with free coaching. ANTHE (Junior) 2015 will select top 450 students (150 students each from class VII, VIII & IX) to give them this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. In addition to the 100% Free scholarship for Aakash program, the top 150 ranking students in each class will also be eligible for cash award. Below table represents the rank-wise cash award details for each class category (i.e. for VII, VIII & IX studying students):

Important Instructions for ANTHE (Junior)
- Kindly fill the enclosed ANTHE (Junior) Registration Form and submit along with your self-attested photocopy of class VI/ VII/ VIII mark-sheet (as applicable), 4 passport size colour photographs and cash / demand draft of 200 in favour of ‘Aakash Institute’. In case mark-sheet is not available, students can enroll by submitting a self-attested photocopy of their Identity Card issued by the school.
- Online Registration Facility is also available on our website: www.aakash.ac.in, where student can download his/her Admit Card for appearing in ANTHE (Junior) 2015 mentioning his/her Roll No. and Exam Centre name.
- Last date of receiving duly filled Application Form by post at Registered Office or by hand at nearest Aakash Centre is 28th October, 2015 (Wednesday) before 6:00 pm for students appearing in ANTHE (Junior) on 1st November, 2015. & 17th November, 2015 (Tuesday)before 6:00 pm for students appearing in ANTHE (Junior) on 22nd November, 2015.
- ANTHE (Junior) Registration Form can also be accepted after 17th November, 2015 (Tuesday) with a late fee of 50 till 19th November, 2015 (Thursday) by post at Registered Office or by hand at nearest Aakash Centre before 6:00 pm for students appearing in ANTHE (Junior) on 22nd November, 2015. No forms will be accepted after 19th November, 2015.
- Any student can write ANTHE-2015 (Junior) either on 1st November, 2015 or on 22nd November, 2015 or on both the dates as per his/her convenience and choice to avail Dual Date Benefit on following basis:
- If any student has written the exam on 1st November, 2015 and wants to improve his/her performance then he/she can reappear in the next exam on 22nd November, 2015 just by paying the examination fee again.
- If any student could not write the exam on 1st November, 2015 despite confirmation, he/she can request to write the exam on 22nd November, 2015 without paying any extra fee.
- Separate merit list will be prepared for the exams scheduled on both the dates. Scholarships & Cash Award offers are same for both the exams.
- If the scholarship obtained by any student in the Exam conducted on 22nd November, 2015 is different than the scholarship obtained in the exam conducted on1st November, 2015 then the higher scholarship achieved in either of the exam will be considered.
- The exam will be a Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based paper, which will be conducted on Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet. A Sample of OMR sheet is attached with the Sample Paper for your reference.
- The result of successful candidates shall be displayed on our website: www.aakash.ac.in mentioning the name & rank of the students along with eligible scholarship.
- Cash Awards* shall be paid by cheque. It will be paid in the 1st week of June, 2016 at respective centres of Aakash or at any other venue as decided by the management.
- The merit list for successful candidates will be prepared by listing them in the descending order of the total marks scored by them. However, there may be ties and such ties will be broken by sequentially applying the following set of rules:
(i) Student having lesser age
(ii) Student having higher marks in Science
(iii) Student having higher marks in Mathematics
(iv) Student having higher marks in Mental Ability Test
(v) Girl Student
- Meaning of Scholarship: Scholarship means Fee Concession; Fee Discount; Fee Waiver
If at any point of time, the government decides to charge Service Tax on the scholarship/concession amount/fee waiver, then the service tax shall be borne by the student / parent / guardian.
- Selected candidates will be provided classroom coaching as per the choice of their study centre (at existing Aakash centres only) but if a student wants to change the study centre, written permission for the same will have to be taken from the Managing Director, AESPL.
- The students joining 1-year course of Class VIII or IX or X shall be eligible for Scholarships for 1 year only. For the next year they will again need to compete for scholarship under ANTHE (Junior) subject to Terms & Conditions applicable. However, those students who join our 2-year program (class IX & X combined) shall be eligible for continued scholarship for the entire period subject to Terms & Conditions.
- Maximum scholarship for which a student shall be eligible is 100%.
